Recently I have had a nice cook out after the our football game against BYU. I'm sure you guys saw me out there doing my thing on the field, but I think you guys needed a camera man for how I cooked these ribs up after the game. Before putting it on the grill I cleaned the ribs. If you are a real cook you'll take it and run it under water and run your hands through the meat to make sure it is cleaned right. Next I seasoned it up real nice, you want everyone to know that you cooking up something nice when your grilling. What you want as a great cook is for someone to have the first thing they say when they come around my house is "Mannnnnn that smell great". Smell is everything when cooking. Next I start getting my BBQ sauce going because that is also something I put on the ribs shortly after they are placed on the grill. Once the sauce is boiled, I then put the rib on the grill.
Once I put the ribs on the grill I let them cook a little then I put some sauce on them not too much though just enough so that the sauce cooks on the ribs so that it give it more flavor. Sides are improtant as well, however , we didn't actually go shopping for sides but we did have enough to make macaroni and cheese and spaghetti. So I had that made, tossed it in the oven and made it work. Once the ribs are done, I put them in the oven to keep warm that continue to grill what I have left. This time since we just had some hot dogs, brauts because that's what's easy for everyone to eat on since we had a big group over. The food was great as always. Dymonte's and Ross', my roommates, parents and family loved the food and kept asking, "Mannn what is in this sauce?" I just told them I couldn't tell. Giving up a family recipes is never a good idea. Dymonte's and Ross' families created a great a positive attitude for me for cooking a great meal and that enable me to actually want to cook for them again (Angell, A (2015, September 14th) CB Chapter 7 Attitude, Marketing 313. University of Michigan).
Their families also described value expression function by expressing their values of how they liked their food cooked and how they would prepare it (Babbins/Harris, 131). I took that into consideration, because as a cook, you can always improve your skills by gaining from others. When cooking, to make it easy on yourself when you have a great number of people to cook the hot dogs, burgers, and sausages first. You never want hungry people staring over you shoulder asking when is the food going to be done? Once the little things are done then you move on to your ribs, chicken, and steak if you have that to make. One thing that I had to learn quick is that steak cooks the fastest, I remember I left it on like any other and came back and my porterhouse steak was ruined and I also got a few nasty words from my mother...
Hope you guys had fun reading and got more tips on cooking see you next time..
